Donna Sue Lindsey

Donna Sue Lindsey, went to her heavenly home on September 27, 2023. She was born on January 30, 1967, in Lebanon, Missouri to Donald and Teresa Carlson. 

After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Market Research, she embarked on a successful career as an Internet Marketing and Research Specialist. Her expertise in the field allowed her to make significant contributions to her profession.

Outside of work, Donna found joy in various hobbies and interests. She had a deep love for reading books, particularly the Bible, which she found solace and inspiration in. Donna was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her week revolved around their game schedule.  She also enjoyed cross-stitching, crappie fishing, and attending church services and actively participating in various church activities.  In fact, it was at the Second Baptist Church in Springfield, MO that she met the love of her life, Darryll Lindsey. They shared a deep bond rooted in their faith and love for each other.  After moving to Grove, she was an active member of Grove First Baptist Church and devoted herself to serving the Lord through their women's ministry.

In addition to her devotion to church activities, Donna cherished spending time with her loved ones. She valued relationships deeply and always made an effort to show love and support to those around her.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Darryll Lindsey; her mother and stepfather Teresa and Ron Sweet; mother-in-law Pansy Lindsey; daughters Danielle Yund and husband Gavin, as well as Debra Lindsey; her brother Brandon Sweet; and her brother and sister-in-law Tom and Jane Lindsey. She is preceded in death by her father and stepmother Donald and Dalena Carlson.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Monday, October 2, 2023, at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Chapel. Graveside Services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Olympus North Cemetery with Pastor Jim Paslay officiating.
