Donna Martinez

Donna Sue Martinez, age 52 and resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, went to Heaven on Thursday, September 20, 2012 to be with her parents, brothers and beloved companion, Gary Portnall. Born on March 25, 1960. She was the daughter of Robert Alfonso Martinez, Sr and Bonnie (Blackfox) Martinez. Raised in Strang, Oklahoma and lived in Bartlesville. Donna brought laughter to every family event, and to all those she came in contact with in her lifetime. She was helpful, caring and an immaculate homemaker. She had a special gift to write poems, expressing her devotion and love to those she held dear to her heart. She was a loving daughter, sister and friend. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Bob" Martinez, Sr. in February 1985; mother, Bonnie (Blackfox) Martinez Perez in September 2011; brothers, Carl "Steve" Martinez in January 2009, and Michael James Martinez in November 1977; her baby brother whom she called her "precious baby brother". She is survived by two sisters, Brenda Easter and husband, Larry, and Sandra Martinez; one brother, Robert A. Martinez, Jr.; three nieces and six nephews; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friends, Christy, Cookie, Gene, Dixon, Michelle Mershon, Nicole Landrigan, Teri Martinez, Larry and Justin Easter, Chris, Michael, Bobby and Victor Martinez.
