Donna Jean Tanner

Donna Wilson Tanner went to be with her Lord on February 15, 2025, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Donna Wilson Tanner was born on July 28, 1956, the daughter of DA and Fern Wilson, and the sister to Larry Dean Wilson. She was raised on a farm near Anadarko, Oklahoma and in 1973 moved to Grove Oklahoma where she met and married Robert Tanner, the love of her life. The couple were blessed with two special needs children, Cristy Tanner and Allen Tanner. Allen passed way in 2016.

Donna lived a full and exciting life, always telling her husband that she moved to a whole new world from life in Anadarko.

She loved God, and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

Donna is preceded in death by her son Allen Robert Tanner, parent’s DA and Fern Wilson sister in law Jean Davidson Wilson, her grandparents and many Aunts and Uncles.

She is survived by her husband Robert Tanner, her daughter Cristy Tanner, and her brother Larry Dean Wilson, nephew Adam Wilson and his daughter EJ, niece CJ Wilson Ryan, Andrew Ryan and their daughters Iris and Sinclair.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Buzzard Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma.
