Doris Roberts

Luginbuel Funeral Home - Doris H. Roberts passed away January 28, 2018 at Claremore Nursing Home, Claremore, OK. Doris was born February 26, 1917 to Ed and Elva Bebrick. She married A. A. (Shim) Roberts in Big Cabin, OK in 1936. Shim and Doris were lifetime members of the First Baptist Church of Big Cabin where Shim served as a deacon for many years. Doris is survived by her son Gene A. Roberts and wife Avanelle of Broken Arrow, a daughter Anita Emerson of Claremore, formerly of Vinita, grandchildren Dr. Robert Emerson and wife Millie, Ranse Emerson, Reuben Emerson, Bruce Roberts and wife Cindy, Kristi Roberts Moon, 10 great grandchildren Adam Emerson and wife Savanah, Hayden and Shay Emerson, Steven Snodgrass, Dr. Kristin Matthews and husband Zachary, Victoria Moon, Royce Roberts, Kennedy Gilbert, Conley Gilbert and Adlen Gilbert, one great-great granddaughter Stella Teeters. Graveside services will be at 2:00 Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Big Cabin Cemetery, Big Cabin, OK. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home, Vinita, OK. The family has suggested donations to First Baptist Church of Big Cabin, OK in their mother's honor, to help those living for the Lord, in order to reach others.
