Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK.....918-253-3222..... Dovie Marie Wilson, passed away at her home in Jay, OK on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at the age of 80. Dovie was born on February 1, 1934 in Hinton, OK, the daughter of the late Iva Partain and Annie (Golden) Partain. During her childhood years, Dovie and her family moved to several different places in Oklahoma until she moved to the Jay area 56 years ago. Dovie worked various jobs throughout life in Jay. She married Bobby Wilson on November 27, 1952 in Bentonville, AR. Dovie enjoyed gardening, lawn work, watching hummingbirds, cooking, fishing and canning but most of all she loved to be with her family especially her grandkids. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one sister. She is survived by her husband Bobby of the home; five daughters: Carolyn Rench of Jay, OK, Debra Baker and her husband Dwain of Bartlesville, OK, Kathy Matthews of Jay, OK, Patsy Ledford and her husband Rick of Jay, OK, and Vickie Bullock and her husband Bennie of Stuttgart, AR; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; three brothers: Jesse Partain, Johnny Partain, and Dean Partain; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Jay, OK on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 2PM with Rev. Richard Pickup, presiding. The burial will follow at the Round Springs Cemetery in Eucha, OK. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 6PM to 8PM at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK. Friends and family may leave notes of encouragement by viewing Dovie's Book of Memories at www.honoringmemories.com. Casket bearers will be Claud Phillips, John Brantley, Robert Matthews, Coty Fisher, James Matthews, Kerry Dry, Casey Wilson, Blake Phillips, Lewis Matthews, and Donny Dry.
