Edna Blevins

Edna Ruth (Bowen) Blevins, age 81, passed away on April 8, 2022, at Grand Lake Villa in Grove, Oklahoma.

Edna was born on February 12, 1941, in Mountain Top, Arkansas. She was one of five children born to Melvin and Leola (Ellison) Bowen. She worked as pharmacy technician for Walmart.  Edna was a very strong in her Christian faith. She took great pride in her cooking, enjoyed gardening, remembered everyone’s birthday.  She was very family oriented and was just an all-around wonderful person that will be deeply missed.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Doice Blevins, two sisters, Melba Phelps, Rosalie Sweatt, and one brother Aubrey Bowen. She is survived by her brother Charles Bowen and his wife Judy, and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m., Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma with funeral services starting at 10 a.m.  Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
