Edward Lee Easlon, aged 88, passed away on August 11, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He was born on April 2, 1936, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Edward was a devoted Christian and was ready to meet his Lord in Heaven.
He was a graduate of Putnam High School and proudly served in the Army. Edward led a fulfilling life as the Owner of a car dealership. Among his proudest accomplishments, Edward was a Freemason, embodying the values of brotherhood and service to others.
In his leisure time, Edward enjoyed various hobbies and interests, such as playing golf, engaging in domino games, and volunteering at the hospital for over 17 years. He had a passion for racing and go carts, and he cherished the opportunity to travel and explore new places. He also had a desire to stay informed and loved watching FOX News.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Mildred (Orr) Easlon, his wife Arla Easlon, and his daughter Cheryl Smith.
Edward leaves behind a community that will deeply miss his presence. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit will be fondly remembered by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
