Eleanor Thomas

Eleanor Lorrine Thomas, age 87 of Vinita, died July 29, 2011. Eleanor was born in Ranger, Texas on November 2, 1923, the daughter of Ross and Lorrine Thomas. She enjoyed shopping, going to Wal-Mart, playing bingo with her friends, going on bus rides, sitting outside, working with beads, reading, and listening to music. She attended the Frist Baptist Church and worked at various jobs through the Home of Hope. Survivors include her nieces Victoria Klauk and Patricia Thomas of Hattiesburg, MS, her house mates at Thompson House, and a host of friends from the Home of Hope. Memorial services will be 9:30 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Luginbuel Chapel with Pastor Skip McClain officiating. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
