Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Grove, OK (918) 786-2261 - Emma Doll Bates, 87 year old Grove, OK, resident passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015. Emma was born on June 10, 1928 in Delaware County, OK, to Clint and Lillie (Cook) Elliott. She worked as a grocery store clerk. Emma was a member of the First Christian Church in Grove, OK, for many many years. She loved to quilt and made sure every child, grandchild and most everybody received a quilt. Emma also enjoyed crocheting. Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bates; her parents, Clint and Lillie Elliott; and one daughter, Irma Crank. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Olympus Cemetery. Friends and family may leave online condolences by viewing Emma's obituary at www.honoringmemories.com. Services have been entrusted to Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove, Oklahoma. She is survived by one son, Randy C Bates and wife Sheryl of Fairland, OK; two granddaughter, Viva Cackler and husband Bill of Grove, OK and Emily Crank and Johnny of Muskogee, OK; one grandson, Roy Crank and wife Ashley of Oklahoma City, OK; and five great-grandchildren, Drew, Denalli, and Kobe of Grove, OK, and Lillie and Clint of Muskogee, OK.
