Ethel Dex Bowers

Ethel Bowers died peacefully in Grove Oklahoma on January 7, 2025 at the age of 89 years old.

Ethel was born at home near Clarksville, TN to Calvin and Goldie and was the last of 7 children. She married Franklin Bowers in 1962 and moved to Colorado at that time. Ethel and Franklin had two daughters, Linda and Ethel.

Ethel was a very kind and sweet person and made friends with all who met her. She was an amazing mom and cook. She was also a very hard-working farm wife for most of her life. She was a very generous person and always wanted to give people something, even if it left her without. She was raised a free will Baptist and always attended church and bible study. She spent the last years of her retirement at Baptist Village in Grove where she was very active in all of the activities and had a large friend group.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin and daughter, Linda. She is survived by her daughter Ethel and her husband Kipp.
