Ethel Dahna Long Radle, retired bookkeeper, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 in Vinita, OK., at the age of 99, just three months short of her 100th birthday. She was born January 28, 1917 in Waco, TX, the seventh of nine children born to Ellie Wilburn Long and Lovie Rushing Long. She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Dean Radle; a grandson, Dennis Michael Johnson; her parents and all of her siblings. She leaves her daughter, Donna M. Holland (Gordon), of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Rebecca Sullivan, of Huntersville, N.C.; Bradley D. Johnson (Elaine), of Rogers, Arkansas; Daniel R. Johnson, Coweta, OK; two great-grandchildren, Matthew Sullivan of Huntersville, N.C.; and Camryn Johnson, of Jenks, OK.; stepdaughter Carrie Beeman (James) of Lake Oswego, OR; and stepson Eric Holland (Tawnya) of Claremore; and five step-grandchildren. She also leaves her sister-in-law Rona Long, of Rusk, TX., and numerous nieces and nephews. She was employed many years as bookkeeper for Mall 31 in Tulsa, retiring at the age of 78 when she moved to the Grand Lake area to enjoy more time for fishing. Ethel was known for her kindness, generosity, sense of humor, love of music and fishing, and her fabulous pies. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1st at Luginbuel Funeral Home, Vinita, (phone: 918-256-5555). Service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Memorial Park Chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, (phone: 918-627-0220). Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
