Everett Holt

Junior Everett Holt, 83, a resident of Grove passed away at Grove Nursing Center on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. He was born on October 13, 1926 in Inola, Oklahoma to Everett Anderson and Margaret (Ediburn) Holt. Junior was in the United States Army then worked as a dairy farmer, in the oilfields and lastly as a fishing guide in California. He loved to fish for Salmon, Stripers and Sturgeon, he had trophies for tournaments he won for the Salmon and Stripers, along with fishing he loved to hunt. Everett was preceded in death by his parents Everett Anderson and Margaret Holt, his wife of sixty-three years who passed away on July 27, 2009 and one brother Louis Holt. Survivors include children Dan Everett Holt, Michael A. Holt and his wife Penny, Patricia Wymore and her husband Clark, Jackie Holmes, Daisy Gallisdorfer and her husband Steve, brothers Harold Holt, Lawrence Holt, Samuel Holt, Richard Holt, sisters Mildred Stroud, Louise Kirksy and Wilma Nunis, Several Grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Services are Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Maxwell, California with the Reverend Lloyd Ash officiating.Arrangements are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove, Oklahoma.
