Farrel Smith

Farrel Loyd Smith, 83 year old Grove resident, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022.  Farrel was born in Ivanhoe, CA on January 3, 1939, to Travis and Opal Smith.  He worked as a contractor and a building inspector and was proud to belong to the Cement Masons Union.  He was a very talented man who could build anything.  He was also a great landscaper. Farrel was also known for being very friendly and never meeting a stranger.  He loved his dog Melody and watching CNN news.

Survivors include his children: Ana Bradford, Bryan Smith, Joel Smith, 9 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Shirley Valverde.
