Faye Bloomer

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK....918-786-2261....Hildreth "Faye" Bloomer went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 28, 2014 at the age of 93. Faye was born on September 18, 1921 in Grove, OK, the daughter of the late Larkin A. Goins and Winifred L. (Jeffries) Goins. Faye grew up in Grove and graduated from Grove High School in 1939. She married George Bloomer on November 4, 1939 in Jay, OK. They enjoyed 44 years of marriage. Faye loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She never knew a stranger. She lived her life for the Lord and it showed in her daily life. Some of Faye's favorite things besides Church, Family, and reading the word was quilting, gardening, playing card games, and cribbage with friends. She loved music and loved to dance. Faye always had a smile on her face. She loved everyone and touched so many lives. She will be greatly missed by all. Faye was preceded in death by her loving husband George in 1983, her sister Marcille McKee, and half-brother Fred Gaines. Faye is survived by her two children: Melony Hill and husband Churck of Owasso, and William "Bill" Bloomer of Grove; two beloved grandchildren Nikki Cook and husband Raymond of Grove, and Vanessa Bloomer of Grove; one great grandchild Bentley Cook of Grove; four nieces: Mary Bluma of Grove, Maxine Gray of Quincey, MO, Winnie Polston and husband Carl of Ridgeville, South Carolina, and Sylvia Nicholas of Summerville, South Carolina; and many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 1PM with Rev. Gary Bishop, presiding. Burial will follow at the Buzzard Cemetery in Grove, OK. Public visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 12PM to 5PM at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK.
