Florence Amendolara

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK....918-786-2261....Florence Margaret (Iannone) Amendolara, age 93, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Grove Nursing Center in Grove, Oklahoma. Florence "Flo" was born on March 13, 1921 in Utica, New York. She was the daughter of Carlo and Rose (Yule) Iannone. Flo was united marriage to Danny Amendolara, and then they moved to California in 1960, then to Grove Oklahoma in 1980. Florence was known for her cooking. If you stopped by to visit, you could count on her making you take time to eat. Flo always made you feel at home, her family was her life. Florence held her family together, she was the families rock. Flo is preceded in death by her parents; husband Danny Amendolara; and two sons Carl and Nick Amendolara. Flo is survived by three children, Danny Amendolara and his wife Susan, Thomas Amendolara, and Madaline Drumright; 13 grandchildren; William Amendolara, Rusty Merrill, Regina Mousser, Tyra Mousser, Aaron Amendolara, Adrianne Amendolara, Rebecca Perrez, Daniel Amendolara, Dawn Marie Vizzoli, Danielle Stoppler, Thomas Amendolara, Wanda Jackson, and Mark Hulse. Flo was blessed with fourteen Great Grandchildren. The memorial service will be Monday, December 1, 2014 at 2PM at the Cornerstone Church in Grove, OK with Pastors Jon and Sheri Burnaman.
