Pryor, OK - Frances Collins, 66, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, August 13, 2006 at her home in Pryor, Oklahoma. Frances was born November 27, 1939 at Coffeyville, Kansas to Norman Tosh and Marie (Toy) Tosh. She grew up in Salina, Kansas and received her education at Little Rock School, near Salina. She married Joe Collins on August 3, 1956 at Miami, Oklahoma. Frances lived most of her adult life in Coffeyville. She worked many years at King Radio in Olathe, Kansas building circuit boards for aircraft. Frances moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas and later to Dewey, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Pryor for the past two years. Frances enjoyed crafts, but mostly she loved the Lord and while in Coffeyville, she hosted prayer meeting and bible study in her home on a regular basis. She was a member of the Church of God, South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Survivors are her daughter Linda Collins of Pryor, Oklahoma; one son, Joey Collins of Salina, Oklahoma; three brothers, Orville Tosh of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Ricky Tosh of Independence, Kansas, and Stoney Tosh of Coffeyville; four sisters, Sherry Brown of Coffeyville, Terry Sutton of Newkirk, Oklahoma and Jane and Karen Tosh, both of Coffeyville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe on February 6, 2001; by a son, Tommy Collins on September 11, 2002; by a brother, Chester Tosh and two sisters, Jackie and Vickie Tosh. Frances will be cremated and family will have private services. Arrangements and cremation are by Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
