George Cole

George Raymond Cole, age 84, Grove, OK, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021.

He was born May 2, 1936 in Forest City, MO, to the late Charles Clinton Cole and Mary Ann Kastl Cole.

George retired from the United States Airforce after serving 20 years as an electronics technician.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Toyoko Yamauchi Cole; one brother, Clarence Cole; and one nephew, Chuck Cole.

Survivors include one niece, Lou Karleskint and husband Chris, Grove; four great nephews, Chase Karleskint, Zion, IL, and Nic Karleskint and Rachel Robertson Grove, Aaron and Ethan Cole, both of Joplin; one great niece, Cassidy Cole, Fayetteville; two great-great nephews, Julius Karleskint and Christopher Karleskint; and two great-great niece, Gabrielle and Caroline Karleskint.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.
