George Felix Isbell

George Felix Isbell was called home on May 9, 2023, at his home in Jay, Oklahoma. He was born on September 30, 1950, in the town of Grubbs, Arkansas to JT Isbell and Lorene Virginia Keller. George was married to Martha Brooks, and they were happily married for 35 years. George enjoyed spending time in his garden growing all types of vegetables as well as many different types of plants. He enjoyed fishing out on the lake, but he was at his best when he was taking care of his wife Martha.

George is preceded in death by his parents JT Isbell and Lorene Virginia Keller.

George is survived by his wife Martha Isbell, and by his children Donald Mencke and Fiancé Melissa Beams of Pryor, Oklahoma; John Hair and wife Tangee of Arizona; Judy Brengman of Anderson, MO; Albert Hair and wife Denna of Claremore, Oklahoma; Tommy Isbell, Lavonda Isbell. Bonus children Gary Don Holland, Rhonda Patterson, Jerry Curtis, Linda Sue Ortiz, Rebecca Inn, and brother Luther Picket as well as numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Worley-Luginbuel Chapel in Jay, Oklahoma on Friday May 19, 2023, at 2pm.
