Georgia Richardson

Georgia Mae Richardson, 82 year old resident of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on October 22, 2020 at the Betty Ann Nursing Home.

Georgia was born on September 27, 1938 in Springfield, Kentucky.  She was the daughter of Virgil and Myrtle (Ward) Wilkerson.  Georgia was very talented and had an eye for design.  She loved arts and crafts, making jewelry, and worked as an interior designer remodeling rental property.  Georgia enjoyed walking, and never saw the need to get a driver’s license.

Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, and ten siblings.  She is survived by her five children; Pam Redman of Columbia, South Carolina, David L. Richardson, Jr., of Ballinger, Texas, James Richardson of Brody, Texas, Kenneth Richardson of Columbia, Missouri and Tina Carlton of Joplin, Missouri, one brother Benny Wilkerson of Crestwood, Kentucky.  Georgia was blessed with fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Georgia will be laid to rest in the Olympus North Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
