Gerald Ruse

Gerald "Jerry" E. Ruse, age 69 of Afton, died Friday September 25, 2009. Jerry was born on May 17, 1940 in Long Beach, California the son of John and Adell (Rippetoe) Ruse. On August 29, 1959 Gerald was united in marriage to his longtime sweetheart Kay Foster. Together they raised two children. Jerry was always cheerful and greatly loved his family. He loved his job as a civic engineer and in his spare time he enjoyed reading, sleeping, watching TV, and going to the beach. Survivors include his wife Kay Ruse of the home, children Tammy and Kevin Ruse both of Tulsa, sisters Claudine Nichols of Mesquite, Nevada and Jeanie Norman and husband Johnnie of Vinita, one granddaughter Rachael Britton, and many nieces and nephews. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents.
