Harold Hensley

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. Harold Dean Hensley, 56, passed away on June 28, 2016 after a tragic accident in Fairland, Oklahoma. Dean was born on April 12, 1960 in Blytheville, Arkansas. He was the son of Harold B Hensley and Edna Mae (Moss) Templin. After 24 years of service, Dean retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. He was united in marriage to Virginia Louise Goodart in 1982. Dean had earned a Masters degree in Science. Dean loved tinkering with electronics, he loved being challenged and could fix anything. Harold also enjoyed music, there wasn't an instrument that he couldn't pick up and start playing. He would always help anyone who needed him. Dean was preceded in death by his father; Harold B. Hensley and step mother Sue Hensley, and one son Robert Hensley, and grannie Marie Moss. He is survived by his wife; Virginia Hensley of the home, his mother Edna Templin of Ozark, Missouri, two daughters Tina Franks and her husband Daniel of Fairland, Oklahoma, and Amanda Hensley of Grove, Oklahoma, and son Richard Hensley of the home.. Harold was blessed with four grandchildren; James, Alexander, Aryanna and William. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Minister Lawrence Sanders will be providing services in Grove. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Pottersville Cemetery in Pottersville, Missouri.
