Helen Donaldson

Grove, Ok. - Helen L. Donaldson, 67, died Monday, August 7, 2006 at Integris Grove General Hospital. She was born on August 11, 1938 in Picher, Oklahoma to Grover and Helen (Crume) Russell. Helen grew up in Joplin, Missouri graduating from Joplin High School in 1956. She attended NEO A&M earning an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting. Helen married Bill Donaldson on November 2, 1956 in Joplin, Missouri. She was a caregiver at Home of Hope Group Homes in Vinita for seven years. She was a member of Volunteers of America and had worked at Wal-Mart in Grove for many years. Helen was a member of Bible Baptist Church, enjoyed writing stories and loved people and her dogs. Survivors include her husband, Bill of Grove; six children, Donna Donaldson of Tulsa, Ok., Billy Donaldson, Jr. and his wife, Debra of Muskogee, Ted Donaldson and his wife Ami of San Antonio, Texas, Terry Donaldson and his wife Paula of Dallas, Texas, Jeffery Donaldson and his wife, Deborah of Tahlequah, Ok. and Deanna Holmes and her husband, Kevin of Tulsa; fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at Bible Baptist Church in Grove with Rev. Guy Morrow officiating and Rev. Roy Prince assisting. Burial will follow at Olympus Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.
