Herman Welch

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home - Grove, OK (918) 786-2261 ~ Herman Alexander Welch, Jr., 81 year old resident of Grove, Oklahoma passed away at his home November 6, 2017. Herman was born on September 15, 1936 in Lindrith, New Mexico. He was the son of Herman and Willie Laura (Meaders) Welch. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Hill on June 10, 1960 in Midland, Texas. Herman worked as a sales representative for The National Supply Company which dealt with products used in the Oil Field Industry. In Herman's spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, cabinetry work and painting houses. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Grove, Oklahoma. Herman was preceded in death by his parents, his two son Bryan Hill Welch and Steven Scott Welch, two brothers; JD Welch and Bill Welch. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carolyn Welch of the home and his sister Sharon Suko of Meza, Arizona. Herman was blessed with two grandchildren; Ashley Bayer and her husband Dustin and Jenifer Briann Welch, and four precious great grandchildren; Aiden, Ryder, Bostyn and Cash. Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Church of Christ with Mr. Doug Rainbolt officiating.
