Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com. Jack Allen Miller, 78, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center. He was born March 9, 1938 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Elmer and Martha (Coffey) Miller. Jack attended Coffeyville and Delaware Schools. He was a commercial painter and worked on automobile and small engines. He would tinker on all sorts of small engines and could fix anything. Jack also worked as a logger. In February of 1966 he married Joyce Tatum and they later divorced. Jack was a kind man that held a special place in his heart for his daughter, grandchildren, and other family. He had many friends and loved to talk to them daily. Jack will be missed by all who knew him. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Martha Miller, a nephew he helped raise, David Proctor, five sisters, and one brother. He is survived by a daughter, Tina Brott and husband Judd of Nowata; two sisters, Penny King and husband Sewell and Shirley King and husband Gene both of Wann; two grandchildren, Jerad Woods and Skyler Brott both of Nowata; two great grandchildren Landree Brott-Engert of Nowata and Logan Woods of Tulsa, and his special pet chihauhua, Taco.
