Jack Moseley

February 27, 1935 — June 28, 2014

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK...918-786-2261.... Jack Dwayne Moseley, Grove resident, died with his family by his side Saturday June 28, 2014 at the age of 79. Jack was born in Vinita, OK on February 27, 1935 to his parents, B.C. and Francis (Robbins) Moseley. He attended Vinita High School, where he met the love of his life, Carla Wateena "Teena" Smith. They married on September 21, 1953 in Vinita, OK. They celebrated 60 years of marriage last year. Jack attended Tulsa University graduating with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He furthered his education at SMU, coming 3 hours shy of attaining his M.B.A. due to his career. Jack worked for many years in the pump industry in Sales Marketing and Management positions. His career took him and his family all over the world. Jack worked in over 47 different countries and eight different states during his career, from Australia, Africa and the Middle East to Europe and the United States. Jack was a "people" person and never met a stranger. He was a member of the "Grove 3 Amigos", which included Jack, Bill Leptich, and Jim Kidder; those guys gathered for lunch and coffee and tried to solve the worlds problems. Jack was a longtime member of the Grove United Methodist Church. He was also very active in the Grove Rotary Club, holding position of Chairman from 1997 to 1998, Secretary from 1999-2000 and Golf Chairman in 2001. Jack also served on the City of Grove Planning Commission, as well as on the University of Tulsa Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board. Jack's lifelong hobby was golf. He was on the course whenever possible. His only regret was the elusive "hole-in-one". He is preceded in death by his parents. Jack leaves many loving memories with his family, wife, Teena; daughter, Shellee Pemberton and husband Michael; brothers, Sam Moseley and wife, Kitti, and Pete Moseley and wife, Kay; sisters, Ramona Bearden, and Carol McClintock and husband Russ; sister-in-law Janette Maynard and husband Harold; grandchildren, Todd Ryan Pemberton and Erin Rene- Moore and fiancé, Derek Timothy Leggett; great-grandchildren, Adi Michelle Pemberton, Reese Kamryn Moore, and Kohen Timothy Leggett; as well as many other loving family members and numerous friends.
