Jack Thomison

Jack D. Thomison, 83, of Disney, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007 at Clearwater Bay Marina. Jack was born on July 25, 1923 in Copan, OK to George Harrison and Maude (Burris) Thomison. Jack attended Copan schools and had been living in the Grand Lake area since 1987 moving from Wichita, KS. He had worked for the railroad for 11 years, was a maintenance man for the Bartlesville School System, also a maintenance man for the Derby, KS School system where he retired. He is survived by his wife; Annabel 4 Children; Don Thomison of Wichita, KS Judy Ann Jones of Duncan, OK Kenneth Thomison of Rose Hill, KS Carol Thomison of Wichita, KS 12 Grandchildren 25 Great Grandchildren Visitation will be 5-8:00 p.m., Thursday at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Langley. Visitation will be 5-8:00 p.m. Friday at the Parcells Family Funeral Home in Caney, KS. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007 at the Parcells Family Funeral Home Chapel in Caney, KS with Rev. Kenneth Hood officiating. Casket Bearers will be Keith Shepherd, Kevin Shepherd, Shawn Thomison, Chad Thomison, Kyle Thomison and Kirk Farber. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery of Caney, KS. Arrangements are under the direction of Luginbuel's South Grand Lake Funeral Home of Langley, OK.
