BENJAMIN FUNERAL SERVICE 918-273-2700...…….Jackie E. (Gene) Kipps passed away on April 11, 2019 at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his family by his side.
Jackie E. (Gene) Kipps entered this world on February 16, 1963 to Jack and Linda Kipps of Nowata, Oklahoma. He graduated from Alluwe High School, Class of 1981. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing hunting and camping. He worked as a carpenter most of his life and was very talented. He could fix just about anything and was a hard worker. He loved spending with his family and friends.
He was proud of his Native American heritage and was a member of the Delaware Tribe. His Indian heritage came from his great grandmother Lucinda (Secondine) Moore, who was full blood Delaware Indian.
He is survived by his parents Jack and Linda Kipps of Nowata, OK. six children Russell Smith, Daniel Kipps, Matthew Kipps, Caleb Kipps, Lucas Kipps, Linda Marie Kipps. Eight grandchildren Jayden, Kalem, Lilja, Colton, Miranda, Braylon, Madison, Kayleigh, Teigan; two brothers Shawn and Michael Kipps both of Nowata, Oklahoma. His lifelong friends Kyla Lynn, Timmy Hash, and numerous other friends and relatives.
Everyone will miss his quick wit and the love he had for his family.
Casket Bearers are Michael Kipps, Daniel Kipps, Caleb Kipps, Lucas Kipps, Kelly Tatum, Timmy Hash.
Honorary Bearers are Matthew Kipps, Shawn Kipps, Dylan Kipps, Jerry Bedell.
