Jackie Lee (Tucker) Techau went home to be with the Lord on August 20, 2021. She was born June 29, 1929 to Jack and Lillie Tucker in Dardanelle, AR. When Jackie was 12, she and her parents moved to Sand Springs, OK to run a Glencliff Dairy Store. They were transferred to a store in Wagoner for her last 2 years of high school. While working in the Glencliff Store she met Arthur Techau, who recently returned from the Pacific where he was a Marine in WWII. They were married in Tulsa on August 16, 1947. They had 2 children Terry and Rebecca. Jackie was a housewife who devoted her time to taking care of her family and she was a faithful worker in the church, teaching Bible class for over 50 years. She moved to Grove in 2000 and got involved with her new church family and friends. Jackie enjoyed getting to be around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lillie Tucker, husband Arthur, sisters: Eulene Garrigus, Edith Ivester, brother Jerry Tucker, and great granddaughter Tiffany Techau. She is survived by her son Terry Techau and his wife Marsha of Coweta, her daughter Rebecca Molder and her husband Hal of Grove, grandchildren Terrell Schlinke, Jonathan Techau, Jennifer Arnold, and Andrew Molder, and 7 great grandchildren: Mirrah Phillips, Ethan and Blane Fritchey, Branch Molder, and Daniel, Lily, and Iris Arnold.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, August 23, 2021, at the Church of Christ in Grove, OK. She will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, OK.
