Jackie Ray Tiry, 54, went to heaven to be with the Lord on December 20, 2010 at their home. He was born October 6, 1954 at Coffeyville, KS, the son of Earl Shaw and Margaret Royer. Jack worked hard all his life to support his family. He was well known for the T-6 buildings he built for people all over. He loved his family and was always helping those who were in need. He had worked for many dairies. He was known as a "Jack of all Trades". He was a believer in auctions, and never missed one held in this area. He had lived most of his life in and around Nowata, He was united in marriage to Brenda Shipley on October 29, 1979 and she survives at their residence. Also surviving are his mother, Margaret Elliott, Sperry, OK, children: Terry and Tammy Tiry, Grove, OK, Jackie Tiry, Delaware,OK, Brandon Tiry, Nowata, OK and Jeffrey Tiry, Delaware,OK. Grandchildren; Jerik Richards, Shawnee Tiry, Mamie Tiry, Eliza Tiry, Jace Tiry, Rayven Tiry, Zachary Tiry, Meagan Tiry, Geramyah Tiry, and Natalie Tiry. Great grandson, Brayson Richards. Brothers; Don and Judy Shaw, Ochelata,OK, Norman and Joann Shaw, Chelsea,OK, Robert and Lois Tiry, Nowata,OK and Ronnie Tiry. Tulsa,OK and sisters; Joyce Dunfee, Kerrville, TX and Bonie Lingren, Bryan, TX. Jack was preceded in death by his father, Earl Shaw, grandson, Triston Tiry, sisters, Cathy Wohlschlegel , Joann Townsend and Alice Chapman, a brother Robert Shaw. Funeral services will be held Monday, 2:00 P.M. at the 1st Baptist Church, Nowata, OK. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery, Childers, OK. Benjamin Funeral Service has been entrusted to conduct the services.
