James Chandler

James Edward Chandler, age 86, Fairland, OK passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021.

He was born April 18, 1934 in Afton, OK to the late Hearl Chandler and Nellie Carroll Chandler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carol Luce Chandler on October 31, 2016

James served in the United States Airforce as an Airman Second Class. Following his military service, he worked for the Grove Police Dept., Ottawa County Sheriffs, owned his own bar, retiring from Simmons Feed as a groundskeeper.

Survivors include four sons, Dean Chandler, Mark Chandler, Eddie Chandler and Brian Chandlers. two daughters, Thera Hope Tomilson and Adren Chandler.

Funeral services are planned for Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hickory Grove Church. Pastor Mel Jackson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK.
