It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected but peaceful passing of Jim (James Paul) Hollaway at home on Monday October 24th, 2016. He is predeceased by his parents Toad (Marion Lee) Hollaway and Wanita Hollaway and his older sister Wanda Lee Hollaway. Survived by his loving wife Louise, his sister-in-law Monique Vezina, brother-in-law Alfonso Furgiuele and brother-in-law Lucien Vezina,nephews David and Devon. Dear Stepfather of Lucie Touchette, Valerie Touchette-McLeod, Stephane Touchette and Melanie Touchette. Proud and loving Grandpa of Aaron Lampole, Jonathan Lampole, Meaghan McLeod and Conor McLeod. Remembered by many cousins and friends. Jim worked for many years at Talbot as a Purchasing Agent. He had followed also in his father's footsteps as a cattle farmer in Goodman MO. Most recently he was employed as Security Dispatch for the Grand Lake Casino. Jim was a first responder and volunteer fireman with the Cowskin Fire Department for many years. One of his many joys was volunteering at the ‘Spook House' each Halloween. A memorial will be held on Friday November 4, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Cowskin Fire Department. Those wishing to make a memorial donation are asked to consider the Cowskin Fire Department.
