James David Pendergrass Jr. passed away April 17, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born October 20, 1961 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the son of James David Pendergrass Sr. and JoAnn (Jenkins) Pendergrass. David’s family moved to Vinita when he was in the sixth grade. He graduated from Vinita High School the class of 1979, after graduation he attended Oklahoma University receiving a master’s in Business Administration. David worked for electrical co-ops and for Calumet Oil Company. He was an avid golfer and fisherman.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents.
His survivors include parents, James and JoAnn Pendergrass of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters, Linda Dale of Broken Arrow, OK, Tracy Silman of Thorton, Colorado, Pamela Wheeler of Arvada, Colorado; special friend Lisa Haslett of Vinita, OK and numerous nieces and nephews.
A public viewing will be 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm Monday, April 20, 2020 and 8:00 am until 12:00 pm Tuesday, April 21, 2020. A private family graveside service will be held at Timpson Chapel Cemetery on Tuesday April 21, 2020.
Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
