James Snyder

James Andrew Snyder, 74, of Grove, Oklahoma died at 8:50 a.m., Friday, June 05, 2009, at Grand Lake Villa in Grove, Oklahoma. James was born August 18, 1934 in Scobey, Montana to Homer and Clara (Swenson) Snyder. He served his country in the United States Air Force. For over 40 years James was an over the road truck driver for various companies. He was a member of the American Legion and served on the Grove Ritual Team as long as his health allowed. On May 22, 1982, he married Laqueta White in Neodesha, Kansas. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include, one son, John Snyder and his wife Susan of Spring, Texas; two daughters, JoDeen Oglesby and husband Richard and Janet Bond and husband David both of Wichita, Kansas; four grandchildren, Allyse Snyder, Michael Snyder, Bethany Bond, and Hannah Bond. A Memorial Service for Mr. Snyder will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Cayuga Mission Church with Pastor Sam Smith officiating. The family suggests memorials for James sent to Free Will Baptist Church, P.O. Box 450546, Grove, Oklahoma 74345. Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
