Janet Lair

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. Janet Eloise Lair, 86 year resident of Grove, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 6, 2017 at Integris Grove Hospital. Janet was born on September 29, 2930 in Frametown, West Virginia. Janet was the daughter of Lova Gay Price and Albert James Price. Janet met the love of her life Fred Lair in March of 1952 and they were married on July 12, 1952. To this happy union, three sons were born. Janet and Fred lived the majority of their married life in Illinois and relocated to Grove in 2002 just shortly after celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Janet was a fabulous cook and always like trying out new recipes. Janet worked as an apprentice Pharmacist for many years. What brought her the most joy was serving her family in the many ways she did. Janet was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time with members of the congregation. She served in many ways in the church, in her younger years, she taught Bible classes and when she relocated to Grove she became involved in the Prison Ministry. She was a faithful child of God. Janet was preceded in death by her mother Lova Gay Price, two brothers Roland Price and his wife Betty and John Price. She leaves behind her faithful and loving husband of 64 plus years, Fred Lair, three sons and two daughter-in-laws, 9 grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. Son, Thomas H. Lair of Mason City, Iowa, Son, Jeffrey A Lair (Patty) of Billings, Montana, Children; Jennifer Shannon (JT), Michelle Lair, Brian Lair (Tara), Nicole Trottier (Joey) Stepphanie Redding (Jeff), Kyle Lair (Brianna), Adam Lair, Son, Paul F. Lair (Lesli) of Channahon, Illinois, Childre; Brittany Lawson (JC), Brooke Lair. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m., Monday, March 13, 2017 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Church of Christ in Grove, Oklahoma. Janet will be laid to rest at Olympus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorials can be sent to the Grand Lake Villa Nursing Home, Grove, Oklahoma or the ICU unit at Integris Grove Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma.
