Jean Droegkamp

Jean M Droegkamp, 86 year old Grove resident, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Poxon) McCune.  On March 18, 1955 she married Robert E Droegkamp in Cumberland, MD.  Jean was a devoted wife and mother, but also worked as a medical secretary in Antioch, IL for 10 years.  In Antioch, she served as the 10th District President Illinois Antioch Woman’s Club from 2004-2006.  While in Grove she was active in the United Methodist Church, as well as book clubs and bridge clubs.

Survivors include her four children: Barbara Brown, Deborah Moore, Mark (Terri) Droegkamp and James (Kathy) Droegkamp; seven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev.
