Jean Heck

Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita, 918 -256 - 5555………. Jean Ann Heck passed away Monday November 06, 2017 at her home. She was born July 15, 1941 in Nyack, New York the daughter of John Stokes and Ruth (Pearsall) Stokes. Jean attended and graduated from school in Nyack. She and Hank Heck were married July 31, 1976. They have made Vinita their home the last twenty years. Jean was a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Vinita. She enjoyed gardening especially her plants and flowers. Jean enjoyed spending time Laughing with her family and guiding them with her love. She loved to teach a new recipe and share stories of her life. She always had a smile on her face and greeted everyone with a hug. Jean enjoyed attending church and church events. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; one daughter Linda Buchta and a sister Ruth Bendig. Jean's survivors include her husband Hank Heck of Vinita, two sons Vincent Osborne and wife Shelly of WestField, PA and Brian Heck and wife Jennifer of Happy Valley Oregon, four daughters; Dolores Lampman and husband Tim of WestField, PA., Emmy Burdick and husband Jeramie of Vinita, Jean Gloss and husband David of Franklinville, NY and Bobbie Jo Heck of Dover, PA., twenty four grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, one brother John Stokes of Ashville NC and brother-in-law Joe Bendig Raliegh NC. The funeral mass will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, November 10, 2017 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church with Rev. M.E. Cashen officiating. Interment will follow at the Heck Family Cemetery.
