Funeral services for longtime Vinita resident Jeffrey Duane Huffman will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Terry Wise and Freddy Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Vinita, Oklahoma. Arrangements are entrusted to Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com Jeffrey Duane Huffman was born October 20, 1956 in Miami, Oklahoma to Harold and Neva (Dunbar) Huffman. He passed away December 13, 2017 at his home in Vinita. Jeff graduated from Miami High School and on February 2, 1973 he married the love of his life, Brenda Orr, in Miami. They moved to Vinita where they have lived since. Jeff worked for Eaton Corporation for over 20 years and was currently working for The State of Oklahoma, Department of Corrections, in Vinita. He enjoyed building and racing cars. He was always tinkering in the shop and often told his family he needed shop time. Jeff also enjoyed camping. He was honest and a straight shooter always telling you what was on his mind. Above all Jeff loved his family. His wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family held a special place in his heart. Jeff will be missed by all who knew him. Surviving Jeff are his wife Brenda, of the home, two daughters, Misty Carter, and husband Michael, of Vinita, Krystal Chisum of Vinita; four grandchildren, Dana Winfrey and husband Kelby, Dakota Tippett, Dalton Tippett, Taylor Chisum; three great grandchildren, Lily Ramsey, Kimber Winfrey, Miya Tippett; mother-in-law, Elma Grunden; sister-in-law, Lucinda and husband Vince Provence; brother-in-law, Gus Grunden and wife Tracy; many other relatives and a host of friends. Preceding Jeff in death are his parents Harold and Neva Huffman, two brothers, Butch and Jim Huffman, and a grandson, Tanner Chisum.
