Jerry Cochran

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma 918-253-3222 ---- Jerry Cochran, 58 year old Colcord, Oklahoma resident, passed away Saturday October 4, 2014. Jerry was born on March 11, 1956 at W.W. Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Lewis and Nellie (Peters) Cochran. Jerry attended school at Leach, Oklahoma, and then Kansas, Oklahoma. Jerry worked in maintenance for Peterson Industries. He loved playing pool and loved hunting and fishing in the outdoors. Jerry was preceded in death by a brother Gary Cochran. Jerry is survived by his children, Jerry Cochran Jr. of Gore, Oklahoma, Jerry Blosom of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Brandy Cochran of Salina, Oklahoma, sisters, Daisy Chancellor of Catoosa, Oklahoma, and Sherry Dozier, of Gore, Oklahoma, several grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, Monday, October 13, 2014 at Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Kansas, Oklahoma. Funeral services for Jerry will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Kansas, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Blackfox Cemetery.
