Jerry Pinkerton

Jerry Donald Pinkerton, Jr. was born on April 7, 1972 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was the son of Jerry Pinkerton, Sr. and Jennie (Spencer) Pinkerton. He grew up in Ochelata where he attended school, graduating with the Class of '90. He furthered his education by acquiring an Associate's degree. At the time of his death, he was employed with Walmart as a department manager, in Bartlesville. On April 18, 2009, J.D. and Ashley Gourd were united in marriage in Ochelata where they made their home. J.D. attended First Baptist Church in Ochelata. He was a lifelong resident of Ochelata. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, camping. float trips, dancing and music. He enjoyed life to its fullest. Other things, which brought him enjoyment, were animals, karaoke, playing practical jokes and he loved his "Pork Chop", aka, his daughter, Jamie. J.D. especially liked the Halloween holiday, as he liked to dress up. In the past, he has dressed up as a "Teletubby", Easter Bunny, Richard Simmons and Victoria's Secret Angel, just to name a few. J.D. was preceded in death by his mother, Jennie. He is survived by his wife, Ashley; his daughter, Jamie Michelle Pinkerton; his father, Jerry Donald Pinkerton, Sr.; one brother, Hap Alan Pinkerton and his wife, Jennifer; 2 nieces, Kyra and Lila Pinkerton; and several aunts and uncles. He also had five "fur babies", a Lab, 2 Chihuahuas, a Blue Heeler Mix and a "Heinz 57". He loved them all and he had named most of them after something edible….Tator, Carlie, aka, Boogers, Hershey, Puddin and Bruce.
