Jevavine Marling

Jevavine "Jackie" Marling nee Whitaker passed away Saturday July 31 at 7:30 p.m. Jevavine was 91 years old. She was born in Collinsville, Oklahoma to Jack and Margaret (MacAfee) Whitaker on August 28, 1918. Jevavine graduated from Bartlesville High School. She married Frank L. Marling in 1937. She resided in Bartlesville for 50 years before retiring to the farm near Ketchum, Oklahoma. Jevavine is survived by: her daughter Margaret Marling-Cason, her son Edwin Marling, her brother James Whitaker, three grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Marling, a son Patrick Marling and a great-grandson Brandon Hurst. Her cheerful and nurturing nature made her known as "Grandma" to all, She will be missed. The memorial service will be held, Wednesday August 4, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church near Ketchum. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
