Luginbuel's South Grand Lake Funeral Home, Langley, Oklahoma (918) 782 - 4400 - Jo Ellen (Lilly) Williams, 81 year old longtime resident of Langley, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in Vinita, Oklahoma. Jo Ellen was born in Covington, Kentucky on January 14, 1934 to her parents Samuel and Mary Jane (Long) Lilly. On November 29, 1949 she married Curtis L. Williams in Milford, Ohio and he preceded her in death in 1972. Jo Ellen owned and operated the Lakeside Beverage Company in Langley for many years and was the matriarch of the family. She was a very kind, compassionate, and caring person, where she was always generous to a fault. Jo Ellen enjoyed reading and crochet, her pets, picnics and family outings, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Jo Carol Hanna; one sister, Carol Ann Nicodemus; and her grandson David Reasor, Jr; Jo Ellen is survived by her son, Curtis S. Williams and his wife Kevin Elizabeth of Vinita; her daughter, Mary Jane Akin and partner Greg Calvert of Langley; five grandchildren, Curtis Colvin and his wife Kristi of Kansas; Amanda Turk and partner Jason Wyrick of Grove; Kellye McHoul and her husband Austin of Massachusetts; Sara Kemp and her husband Michael of Adair; and Seth Williams of Vinita; fifteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews, other family members and friends. The family of Jo Ellen Williams will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Luginbuel's South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Langley. Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Monday, August 10, 2015 at Luginbuel's South Grand Lake Funeral Home Chapel in Langley with interment following at Ketchum Cemetery in Ketchum, Oklahoma.
