John Bell Jr.

John Reed Bell II, 60 year old resident of Strang died Saturday January 12, 2013 at his home. He was born September 17, 1952 in Pryor, Oklahoma, the son of John Reed Bell and Nellie Goins Bell. He was raised and educated in Ketchum, graduating from Ketchum High School. John was a carpenter and a member of the Strang United Methodist Church. He loved animals, especially horses and dogs. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and never met a stranger, and could talk to anyone. John leaves behind two children, Jonessa Bell of Claremore, and John Bell III of the home, and one grandson Jackson Buzzard. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Visitation will be Wednesday January 16, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 at Luginbuel South Grand lake Funeral Home in Langley, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday January 17, 2013 at the Assembly of God Church in Disney, OK with Pastor Daryl Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Spavinaw - Strang Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home.
