Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK....918-786-2261.....John Randolph Dismore, passed away at his home in Afton, OK on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the age of 65. John was born on January 7, 1949 in Phoenix, AZ, the son of Lyman Lawrence Dismore and Julia Irene (Richardson) Dismore. At the age of 2, John moved with his family to the family farm in Headrick, OK. He attended and graduated from Navajo High School in 1967. John then attended SWOSU in Weatherford, OK graduating with a Bachelor's degree. He moved to Oklahoma City for a short time until moving to Altus, OK where he sold insurance for Farm Bureau. Later he moved to the Grand Lake area and worked for Farmers State Bank which is now Security Bank and Trust. He worked for the bank as Vice President for 34 years. He met Vicki McDonald Evans in 1997 and the two were wed on March 6, 1998 in Miami, OK. John enjoyed working on his farm, serving at Cornerstone Church where he was active on the praise team, but most of all he loved being with his family. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father and one nephew William Lacy. He is survived by his wife Vicki of the home; 3 sons: Clint Dismore and wife Caiti, Shawn Evans, and Patrick Evans; two daughters: Nicole Dismore, and April Offutt and husband Jeremy; three grandchildren: Brynn Offutt, Reese Offutt, and Aislinn Evans; one brother: Larry Dismore and wife Nita; two sisters: Becky McCandless and husband Eddie and Sharon Lacy and husband Jerry; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held at Cornerstone Church in Grove, OK on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11AM with Rev. Paul Taylor, presiding and Rev. Mark Gamber, assisting. Cremation will follow the service. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 6PM to 8PM at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK.
