John Moore, Jr.

John William Moore, Jr. John William Moore, Jr. passed away from this life and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the age of 59. Born September 13, 1947, in Humansville, Missouri to John William and Betty Jean (Teague) Moore, Sr. John spent most of his early years in Jay, Oklahoma. He was a Vietnam War Veteran serving in the U. S. Army. John worked as a Mechanical Engineer for over 30 years. John had a real passion for fishing, cooking and most of all being with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, John William Moore, Sr. John is survived by his wife Becky, Tulsa, three children, Jennifer Kae Theis of Joplin, MO, Jay William Moore of Chickasha, Joshua James Moore, Tulsa; his mother Betty Jean Moore of Disney; two brothers Randy Moore of Spavinaw and Tracy Moore of Tulsa; four grandchildren and a host of friends. The graveside service will be held, Saturday July 7, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery, with Pastor Chuck McConkey officiating. Military rites will be performed by the Grove Veterans Ritual Team. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com.
