Joleen Hill, 80, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Journey Home in Bartlesville, OK. She was born September 27, 1936 in Dustin, Oklahoma to Dewey and Edith (Robertson) Owens. Joleen was a 1955 graduate of Nowata High School and on June 12, 1957 she married Floyd Ray Gibson in Nowata. She farmed and ranched then later worked as a ward clerk in the hospital for eight years. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. Joleen made a quilt for each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a special place in her heart for her family. She was a very loving person and will be missed by all who knew her. Joleen is survived by her daughter, Linda Kay Ackerman; a sister, Virginia Erlingson; two grandchildren, Dustin Ackerman and Levi Ackerman; three great-grandchildren, Collin Ackerman, Miah Ackerman, Zoey Ackerman and a grandson to arrive in March, Heath Ackerman. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Edith Robertson; a sister, Norma Ray Fuller; a brother, Dewey R.Owens, Jr.
