Joyce Albin

Joyce E. Albin, 89, died Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Grove Nursing Center in Grove, Oklahoma. Joyce was born on December 8, 1917 in Joplin Missouri to Charles and Joyce (Macom) Watson. She married Carl M. Albin on July 13, 1936 in Greenfield, Missouri. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1987. Joyce worked as an inspector for Automotive Control Corporation until her retirement. She was a member of the Community of Christ, Order of Eastern Star and the Cherry Reds. Survivors include two sons, Frank Albin of Grove, Ok. and Jim Albin of Hesperia, California; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Linda Alexander and Jim Albin officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale, Kansas. Visitation will be 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 27, 2007 at the funeral home.
