Kathy Peck

Luginbuel Funeral Home, Vinita, Oklahoma ~ Kathy L. Peck, long time White Oak resident passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at her home in White Oak. She was born August 16, 1959 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to John and Helen West. She was a 1977 graduate of Big Cabin High School and in 1992 she graduated from Northeastern University in Tahlequah with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Kathy worked as a Toll Booth Operator on the Will Rogers Turnpike. On July 1, 1988 she married Steven Peck at the Greer Chapel in Chelsea. Kathy enjoyed going to auctions with her husband and caring for her dogs. She was an avid John Wayne memorabilia collector and loved spending time with her family. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. Preceding Kathy in death are her parents, John and Helen West; and siblings, Renita West, Jerry West, and Owen West. Survivors include her husband Steven Peck; son Tyrell D. Martin and wife Cheryl of White Oak; a brother, Lee Allen West and wife Donita of Foyil, Oklahoma; many other relatives and a host of friends. Graveside funeral services for Kathy Peck will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 2, 2018 at Timpson Chapel Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. The family suggests donations to the American Lung Association.
