Kenneth Arneecher

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK.....918-253-3222.....Kenneth Karl Arneecher, Sr. was born in Mayes County, Oklahoma on August 1, 1930. He was 84 years old. He passed away in his home in Jay, Oklahoma on December 24, 2014 due to an illness. Kenneth married Sue Dry on May 27, 1973 in Miami, Oklahoma and was happily married for 41 years. Kenneth worked for the City of Jay in the street maintenance department and as a dog catcher for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the United Keetowah Band in Oklahoma and was an active member of Hillside Baptist Church in Eucha, Oklahoma. Kenneth is preceded in death by his father Bud Arneecher, his mother Lizzie (Smoke) Chunestudey, one sister Mary McDade, one son, Tim Panther and one grandson, Derrick Arneecher. Kenneth is survived by his loving wife Sue Arneecher of the home, his two daughters Lisa Johnson and her husband Parker of Sallisaw, Oklahoma and Rhonda Panther of Jay, Oklahoma, his three sons Kenny Charles Arneecher of Claremore, Oklahoma, Kenneth Arneecher, Jr., and his wife Amanda of Jay, Oklahoma and Toby Arneecher and his wife Kim of Jay, Oklahoma. Kenneth also leaves behind one brother, Frank Arneecher and his wife Mary Ann of Jay, Oklahoma plus 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren a few nieces and nephews and several other loving family members and friends. Kenneth's hobbies included doing yard work, picking wild onions, spending time with family and friends and watching his grandchildren. A visitation will be held at from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, on December 30, 2014 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Jay, Oklahoma. Kenneth will be laid to rest in Round Springs Cemetery in Eucha, Oklahoma.
