Kenneth Lee Harrison of Grove, Oklahoma, age 65, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Kenneth was born on January 5, 1946 in Miami, Oklahoma to Leta Mae (Fields) and Kenneth Scott Harrison. He spent most of his first eight years of school in Texas as his father was stationed there in the United States Air Force. In 1961 Kenneth's family returned to Grove, Oklahoma where his parents were raised. Kenneth attended Grove High School, graduating with the class of 1964. He then attended NEO in Miami, receiving his Associates of Arts degree in 1966. Kenneth later attended Barber College in Tulsa and retired from barbering in 2007. Kenneth Lee was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. He was a very caring and loving son to his mother, retiring from his work to take care of her. He was very caring of his family and friends, and was always willing to lend a hand when needed. He enjoyed sports and was an avid OU Sooner fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Scott Harrison, a sister, Deanna Jean Harrison, and fiancée Barbara Russell. He is survived by his mother Leta Mae Harrison, of the home. He is also survived by many dear cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday December 21, 2011 at Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Olympus Cemetery.
