Kirk Mcgee

Kirk G. McGee, 48, a former resident of Grove passed away in Jay, Oklahoma on Wednesday, April 14, 2010. He was born on August 7, 1961 in El Dorado, Kansas to George G. and Oleta K. (Flinn) McGee. Mr. McGee worked for Boeing Aircraft as a site director; Kirk had worked for Boeing for thirty-one years. He graduated from Grove High School in 1979. He loved to hunt, he would hunt almost anything from bear to buffalo as well as elk and deer, Kirk also enjoyed fishing. He loved his family and friends and was most proud of his girls. Survivors include his two daughters Emali McGee and Regan Slates and her husband Guy, his grandchildren Ryker Slates, Zanna Slates and Logyn Slates, his parents George and Oleta McGee, two sisters Kathryn Johnson and Jon Criger and Karen Callaway and her husband Todd Callaway, a nephew and niece Jeremiah Johnson and LeAnn Johnson and Sean Stowell. Funeral services for Mr. McGee will be on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church in Grove with Dr. Wayne Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in the Olympus North Cemetery under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. Friends and family can leave online condolences at www.honoringmemeories.com.
